Workplace Health
Beth practiced environmental and workplace safety and health law for 18 years in a large international law firm before opening her own firm in January 2015. Prior to private practice, she worked in state government, including positions with two South Carolina governors and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Beth has represented clients from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing plants, pulp and paper mills, cement production facilities, real estate developers, waste management facilities, and electric utilities. She advises clients on compliance with environmental and workplace safety and health requirements, and defends clients in state and federal enforcement actions and citizen suits. Her experience includes cases arising under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, Superfund (CERCLA) and Community Right-to-Know (EPCRA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Act, and the South Carolina Pollution Control Act.
